Do you serve Guiness on tap??
Super loud during business hours. They took my order but never billed me. I didn't bother to look at the receipt until the food for everyone else showed up. Great whisk(e)y selection.
MoreGot their olive oil cake here and it was pretty good.
Always a great experience here. Fantastic food and drinks
Friendly staff and good deals make this a great stop for happy hour or a late night meal.
MoreInteresting cocktails. A pretty cool wine selection. A bit loud in there for conversation though.
MoreOne of Portland's better cocktail spots. Such an easy place to hang out. You have to order at the bar but the food is delivered to your table. Great happy hour menu. Tables, no booths, with an open atmosphere.
MoreVery cool vibe. Friendly staff. And that $3 draft is delicious.
I really like the 24-hr happy hour options. We always tend to order the olives (the green ones are amazing), and the cheese plate. I've also heard great things about the grilled cheese. My only gripe is that the $5 whiskey special only changes monthly.
MoreLaid-back bar with relaxed vibe and lots of windows and ample seating. Bartender was friendly and drinks were strong. Had the bruschetta, which was amazing! Nice place to hang out and have a bite to eat and a drink.
MoreGreat wine list. Wonderful understated food. Fun late night place.
Decent cocktails and happy hour that goes all the time (awesome), however the food was nothing to write home about. Someone has a panini press and they do everything with it...everything. Too noisy - we had a group of 5 and felt like we were yelling all night just to hear each other across a small table. The general vibe was a little off from my usual watering holes... It would be fine for an after work or late night drink but I wouldn't waste time eating dinner here again.
MoreVery good prices. Nice drinks and small bites. One of the best happy hours in town.Music is great. The only con is that their chairs are extremely uncomfortable. If they put a few couches or at least better chairs, it would be perfect.
MoreGreat place. Used to go here after my shift to get a drink. Go figure. Skilled bartenders, delicious food, modern, easy-going atmosphere.
MoreIt's an okay bar. I do like how they have large ice cubes for their bourbon. But I didn't find the bartender very friendly. It kind of wanted you to just order a drink and pay for it and get out of their face. So I was a one-and-done customer. I won't be back. I go for good drinks good atmosphere but most of all great service. This isn't the place for me
MoreOne of my go-to places when I want a delicious, fast, and reasonably priced meal with a cocktail! They serve one of my all-time fave cheese plates in the entire city. Simple and 6 bucks! I adore Manchego, and you find that here paired with thinly sliced apple and house savoury spiced nuts.Their sandwiches are paninis done perfectly. They also offer a Grilled Cheese with Tomato Soup, with the option of Caramelized Onions that makes the sandwich extra delightful!I almost always order the crispy Potatoes with Remoulade, I dont think I'll ever get tired of them. Cocktails are always wonderful. Service is always exceptional. The space can get a bit loud when it's full, so don't go here for quiet convo, but come here for everything else!
MoreTotally decent bar. Good drinks, friendly bar staff, great people watching windows. Good place to grab a drink and a snack.
MoreNice atmosphere and reasonably priced drinks
Shift Drinks is a nice spot to meet friends and enjoy a well crafted cocktail. It's fun to sit at the bar and chat with the bartenders. They are friendly and great at providing tips on other local bars that you should check out. There is plenty of seating if you are bringing a decent sized group.
MoreCouldn't be a bigger fan of Shift Drinks. The atmosphere is open and spacious, making it a perfect place to meet friends for an easy conversation. All the bartenders are incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the specialty drinks they whip up are both simple and strikingly delicious.
MoreFriendly service and really good food! Great for a late night snack!
The food here is very excellent!
Amazing cocktails, great service, delicious food! We'll be back.
I had a bad experience elsewhere and ended up with my drink spiked. I was wandering downtown trying to walk it off. I came across this bar and was feeling terrible. I went in and told the bartenders what happened to me and they offered to watch me and get me some ice water. They took good care of me in a situation that was a bit dangerous.I went back the next day and talked with the owner. She was fantastic and really cared. I told her how the staff made me feel. Was an awesome experience and I am heading back one week later for drinks.
MoreGreat Services.Great bar section. Nice place. I friend suggested me this place. Food was great. Perfect lighting.
MoreI hear the food is good but haven't tried it. Drinks are great! Check out the happy hour that never ends. They choose a liquor and a number of cocktails using it for $5 -$7. Great deals! Their whiskey sour was great as well as the Vodka soda old fashioned
MoreMike bodrero is a bartending wizard. He makes simple basic drinks sparkle. great bar with fantastic specialists.
MoreVery low key place for drinks and happy hour food. Needs sometime to dampen sound, it’s just an open industrial space, which made it very difficult to hear even at 4pm, with the place about 1/3 full.
MoreGreat drink Sidecar. Great roasted potatoes. The server was not around much very crowded.
MoreDowntown but not in the middle of everything. Service industry workers are treated nice. A lot of us who work downtown relax here after work. The shift beer and grilled cheese won't steer you wrong. Thanks beautiful people.
MoreWe love the chill, relaxed vibe here! As the name says, it an awesome place to stop in after your shift or after a day of shopping and walking. Great nibbles selection on the happy hour menu and the happy hour drinks highlighting a specific liquor gets you out of the rut of ordering the same thing. Well crafted drinks!
MoreThe Cubano has more mustard than expected but I didn't mind. The tomato soup was a bit heavy on the olive oil. Sit at the window, people watching is fun.
MoreGrilled cheese and 🍅 soup. Great drinks by the glass options.
This spot is great. The cocktails and food are top notch. The monthly spirit deal is out of this world, featuring premium spirits at ridiculously low prices. Plus, $3 craft shift beer and happy hour all the time. Definitely worth checking out.
MoreExcellent drinks and food. It is the perfect place to pre-game before a Timbers or Thorns match.
MoreI love this place. Great for unwinding after work with a drink, some snacks, and good friends. They have an all day happy hour that is tasty and affordable and make great Manhattans!
MoreAlise makes amazing drinks! What a pleasant surprise to stumble upon this gem. Keep up the awesome work!
MoreWine was wonderful, and the atmosphere was cozy, though it can get kind of dark and loud at times. Catering was also very well put together. Excellent staff service. Overall a very enjoyable experience
MoreTake earplugs. Do not enter if you wish to have any kind of conversation that does not involve shouting. There is no sound insulation. People watching from the seats on the window is cool and the food and drink are OK.
MoreHappy hour all day every day? Sign me up! Might as well call it their normal menu, but overall a cool space with some quality drinks. Definitely worth shifting around your plans to swing by here.
MoreSolid place for some small plates and affordable drinks. I recommend the Shift beer paired with the cheese and fruit plate. I haven't explored too much of the menu, but the service is always friendly, and the setting is pretty cozy.
MoreNoisy and crowded but just okay for a college group gathering - next time I would recommend some place bigger
MoreAwesome wine list, great drinks, nice staff. The place is a little big to be intimate, but good atmosphere.
MoreThe gin and lavender cocktail was definitely weird and unique, but interesting! The board was delicious, candied curried nuts were on point!
MoreThis place was okay. Lots of craft beer and a contemporary ambience. The seating was uncomfortable for my taste, but not out of place in a bar. They charged me $3 for a club soda, though, and that put a bad taste in my mouth. It was also chilly inside. Overall not a bad place, but I felt there were cozier places in downtown Portland.
MoreI mostly go after timbers games as I walk back to my car and fun. Nice high ceilings
MoreI am a jetBlue Crew Member and I travel all over the country searching for "first times" This place was highly rated so I thought I would give it a go, as they were known for an Olive Oil Cake" desert. My bar keep Ben was a perfect mix of gentleman and and friend, with Isaiah the Head Chef a close second. Wonderful drinks, delicious food, and yes...that cake was absolutely one of the best ever I have tasted. Make this a stop when visiting Portland. They do it right, and treat you better.
MoreFirst time there late night. Skateboarder bros and bearded flannel Portlanderz took over. More like inner SE dive crowd than after work types that frequent earlier in the night, a welcomed surprise. Cocktails and wine list solid. Mezcal negroni followed with dry rosé. Service tends to be slower anytime (not on phones, side work), so plan ordering stealthily. Bright airy space, not cramped.
MoreIf you have a group this is the place to go. The seating is arranged around large tables meant to seat 4 to 8 people. However, it's very loud inside with no noise dampening partitions. Great for coworkers meeting up after work for a drink. Not so good for one-on-one conversation.
MoreAn excellent $3 IPA, good vibe, basic decour, but a good place to grab a beer and a snack.
MoreGreat prices, good service even when busy.
